What Are Dream Teams?

Dream Teams are designed to help you use your gifts and passions to make a difference here at Only Believe and in your community. We offer many different teams to make it easy for you to serve. From greeting visitors on Sunday to leading people in worship, each team makes an eternal impact.

Lobby Teams

The Lobby Dream Teams work together to create a welcoming, engaging, and safe environment for everyone who enters the building. Using their unique gifts, they help people feel seen, valued, and at home from the moment they walk through the doors.

Cafe

Age: 18+

The Cafe team uses their love of coffee to create specialty drinks in the lobby and to serve all who come by with caffeine and a smile.

Greeter Team

Age: 18+

The Greeter team uses their hospitality giftings to create a welcoming environment for all as they enter the building.

Medical Team

Age: 18+

The Medical team uses their knowledge in first aid and their background in the medical field to help the needs of all in the lobby.

Set-Up & Tear-Down Team

Age: 18+

The Set-up and Tear-down teams help to set up the Lobby to create fun environments for events and to clean up the Lobby after events.

Welcome Center Team

Age: 18+

The Welcome Center team uses their gifts of hospitality to greet, engage, and inform any guests in the Lobby.

In-Service Teams

The In-Service Dream Teams work together to create a meaningful environment where people can encounter God. Using their unique gifts, they help lead others into moments of connection, clarity, and transformation during every service.

Media

Age: 18+

The Media team serves to create an attentive experience for those in our service and on live stream through the use of cameras, lighting, and Imag.

Photography Team

Age: 18+

The Photography team uses their creativity and giftings to capture impactful moments from the service, lobby, and events.

Prayer Team

Age: 18+

The Prayer team uses their intercessor giftings to pray with people during and after the services.

Sound Team

Age: 18+

The Sound team creates an attentive experience for those in our service through audio operations.

Usher Team

Age: 18+

The Usher team serves to create an attentive experience by administering the operations and supplies of the service.

Worship Team

Age: 14+ in Highschool

The Worship team uses their giftings in vocals and instruments to lead a dynamic and spirit-filled worship encounter.

Youth Team

The Only Believe Youth Teams help middle and high school students feel welcome and known by creating environments where they connect with God, experience Him, and take their next steps.

Middle School Team

Age: 18+, Background Check

The Middle School Dream Team creates a fun and faith-filled environment where students grow in their relationship with God. Using their unique gifts, they help middle schoolers feel seen, known, and encouraged.

High School Team

Age: 18+, Background Check

The High School Dream Team creates a space where students can grow through real relationships and meaningful small groups. Using their unique gifts, they help students feel connected, valued, and grounded in their faith.

Only Believe Kids Team

Only Believe Kids is one team with five areas. Our team helps kids have a genuine relationship with God, build a biblical foundation for their lives, grow with friends and leaders, and love being at church.

Check-In Team

Age: 18+, Background Check

The Kids Check-In Team creates a welcoming environment and assists families with checking in, dropping off, and picking up children in all Highlands Kids areas.

Slam Team

Age: 14+ in Highschool, Background Check

The Slam Team invests in the lives of children who are in second through fourth grade by giving them the opportunity to discover and develop a passion for God through Bible teaching, worship, Small Groups, prayer, and games.

Special Buddies Team

Age: 18+, Background Check

The Special Buddies Team serves children with special needs, providing support so that each one can participate in our environments.

Small Group Team

We all need each other and that’s why we have Small Groups. Whether you’re new to groups, leading for the first time, or a seasoned leader, there’s a place for you!

Small Group Leader

Age: 18+, Background Check, Small Group Leader Training

The Small Groups Team leads weekly groups where people experience authentic community, find freedom, and grow in their relationship with Jesus. They create a space to be known, encouraged, and strengthened in their faith.

Outreach Teams

The Outreach Teams demonstrate God’s love in practical ways by caring for the felt needs within our community through Loving Our Neighbor Groups.

Farmer's Market

Age: 14+ in Highschool

We need volunteers for the Sidney Farmer’s Market Outreach! If you would like to pray for people, bless them with free hot dogs and water, and be a light for Jesus in our community, please consider signing up to volunteer.

Food Pantry Team

Age: 14+ in Highschool

Only Believe has partnered with Agape in Sidney to provide food for our community. We would love for you to join the team in passing out food on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month here at the church from 9 to 11 a.m.

Front Porch Worship

Age: 14+ in Highschool

Not everyone can make it to church, so we bring worship to them! This team visits members who can’t attend in person, sharing worship and encouragement right where they are. If you love Jesus and loving people, this is the team for you!

Nursing Home (Nails)

Age: 14+ in Highschool

This team serves elderly residents in local nursing homes with simple nail painting and quality time, reminding them they are seen, loved, and not forgotten. We’d love for you to volunteer with this team!
